Vincent Hlavacek

Aspiring Mechanical & Aerospace Engineer with a passion for innovation, leadership, and problem-solving. Currently pursuing a degree at Michigan Technological University as a Leading Scholar Award recipient and Pavlis Honors College student. My experiences span across engineering research, entrepreneurship, and competitive sports.

Through my internship at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, I gained hands-on experience in advanced research, while my role as founder of Acid Baits Laboratories LLC has allowed me to develop business acumen and product innovation skills. Leadership is at the core of my journey—I have served as a JROTC Cadet Captain, Rifle Team Commander, and Varsity Fishing Team Captain, leading teams to national-level competitions.

Beyond academics and leadership, I am committed to service, holding the rank of Eagle Scout and dedicating time to organizations such as Cal’s Angels and the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Whether in engineering, competition, or community service, I thrive in challenges that demand precision, strategy, and resilience.
